Véhicule Rail-Route DAF CF85 DUO

Road-Rail vehicle DAF CF85 DUO is equippped with platform superstructure, for spreader of chemical and inert materials, ballast, tank, and many other superstructures.

The vehicle is driven by means of friction system, by friction of its rear tyres on the rails. Two-axle rail gear unit is installed in the vehicle front, behind the rear road axle, and one-axle rail gear unit at the vehicle rear, behind the rear road axle.

The vehicle is equipped with front mounting plate for front mounted cylindrical brush, snowplough, etc.

The vehicle is equipped with CCTV cam system for reverse ride, monitored on LCD display in the driver’s cab, railway lights and illumination system for work at night. All operations on the railway track are controlled electrically from the driver’s cab, the rail gear operations are automatically controlled and monitored on the board-PC.
