Road-Rail vehicle MERCEDES TRAMLINER - MS

MERCEDES TRAMLINER - MS is a Road-Rail vehicle designed for ride and work on roads as well as on tramway tracks. The vehicle is equipped with body superstructure with a welding unit for welding of rails incl. electric power supply - dieselgenerator. Besides the body superstructure, the vehicle can be equipped practically with any superstructure designed for maintenance work on tramway tracks.

The vehicle exceeds especially in ride in a very small bend radius gauge, with the length of loading platform of up to 7 m, because of the used rail gears enabling ride in a small bend radius, regardless of the large rail gear base.

The power transmission on the driven rail wheels is hydraulic. The tyres are raised above the rails during ride on rails. The vehicle is equipped with air-hydraulic brake. The mechanisms are driven hydraulically and are controlled from the driver's cab. For the safe ride, the vehicle is equipped with CCTV cam system for safe view behind the vehicle and a board-computer, displaying and recording all imortant values of the Road-Rail system.
