Road-Rail vehicle PRAGA ALFA DUOLINER - HNJ

PRAGA ALFA DUOLINER - HNJ is a Road-Rail vehicle equipped with rail gear for ride on rails and with hydraulic loading crane. Vehicle is designed for ride and lifting works on road and for ride and lifting works on rails, as well as for towing of railway wagons.
During ride on rails power is transferred on driven rail wheels hydraulically. Road tyres are lifted above the rails during travel. Double-gear drive is specific for low speed with higher traction and higher speed with lower traction. Vehicle is equipped with a pneu-hydraulic brake. Train brake is air-operated.
During operation of hydraulic loading crane on rails the torque is transferred on rails by means of special outriggers with pliers. When working on road, the crane outriggers are used. Hydraulic movements of mechanisms are controlled electrically .
