Road-Rail vehicle RFW 6x6

The two-axle rail gears are swivelling. Both front rail gear and the rear rail gear are of two-axle type. The front rail gear is installed behind the front road axle – this enables ride in rail bend of small bend radius and it assures the highest overhang angle. Thrust of the rail gears is controlled and the rail gears are controlled from the driver's cab and by means of mobile control panel from outside. The rail gears are adjusted to the railway gauge of 1066 mm.
